Dear family and friends,

"Newsnotes" has a completely different format this year. Straight away you will see that this is a very exceptional edition!

On April 26, 1998, we commemorated the 100th anniversary of Little Sister Magdeleine's birth. We tried to use the occasion in order to make her better known, sharing with others something of the way in which God used her in order to express the "newness of the Spirit."

Thus the idea of organizing a "Symposium".

This booklet assembles the presentations of those who agreed to participate in the big gathering which took place in Rome on the very day when she would have celebrated her hundredth birthday, April 26, 1998.

It was open to all and we thought of sharing the content of the conferences with you as a way of making you present as well.

Little Sister Magdeleine's portrait slowly came to light as the speakers underlined different aspects of her human and spiritual countenance. We let you discover them.

Through her life we receive "something" of who God is... and to this we must bear witness.
