We pray with all the people of Syria for peace. Rene Voillaume writes: In our powerlessness to find solutions to the problems posed, we have to enter into the time of compassion, in which prayer of intercession takes on particular significance, asking the crucified Jesus, "Why so much suffering, so many lies, so many horrors?" It is his sacrifice that continues in the people.
