Jesus, 'one of us'

Of course the vocation of the Little Brothers of Jesus has little meaning unless we see Jesus as the Son of God who freely chose to share our human life in this way, this “Nazareth” way.

For Jesus spent most of his short life in the village of Nazareth as the ‘carpenter’. In other words, he lived the daily life of the majority of people in his time, and in all times. As ‘Jesus of Nazareth’, as he was known, he was, quite simply, “one of us”.
