The visit of Little sister Gertrud Veronika and Gabrielle Yvette from our General Community was a wonderful Christmas gift.

Gertrud, our General sister in charge, visited Copiapo and Talcahuano and Gabrielle Yvette went to Santiago and to Pulotre among the Mapuches, a community we have decided to close for the time being.

Gertrud invited us to be silent throughout this year to listen to the will of God concerning our Region and especially as to the continuity of our presence among the Mapuches.

She left us saying:

"I leave with a beautiful image of your Region of Chile, a Region that walks together. It is every sister who creates the life of the Region. I appreciated the climate of trust and I liked the prayer times together. It is good to feel the welcome of each person at the deepest level of themselves. Now your discernment continues with the question: What is our mission today?"
