After his election as Prior at the Chapter of Bangalore in October 2008, Herve Janson had to leave his fraternity of Foumban (Cameroon) in order to move to Brussels. He asked for a brother to go and strengthen this fraternity. Patrice Tassel, from the fraternity of Vitrolles (France), who is retired, agreed to go. He has some understanding of Cameroon because four brothers who have spent more than 40 years in Central Africa now live in the fraternity of Vitrolles. read more »

He has worked mainly at L'Arche, an institution that welcomes and works with handicapped people.
