Twinning of the fraternities of Vitrolles (France) and Foumban (Cameroon)

After his election as Prior at the Chapter of Bangalore in October 2008, Herve Janson had to leave his fraternity of Foumban (Cameroon) in order to move to Brussels. He asked for a brother to go and strengthen this fraternity. Patrice Tassel, from the fraternity of Vitrolles (France), who is retired, agreed to go. He has some understanding of Cameroon because four brothers who have spent more than 40 years in Central Africa now live in the fraternity of Vitrolles.  read more »

News from Onitsha, (Nigeria)

Fidelis and John Paul are two Nigerian brothers. When they had finished their formation in Cameroon, they went back to Nigeria. They re-opened the fraternity of Onitsha which has remained closed for several years, taken care of by a Protestant friend for the whole period. They have both made their perpetual vows and have lived together for three years.  read more »
