Jesus Caritas

An ecumenical movement of committed lay-people from among the Palestinian community organized a prayer for peace on the 60th Anniversary of the State of Israel, under the title: 'Remembrance and hope'.

Lord, we pray to you, to give us patience, constancy and strength.

We say together:

NO to hatred and YES to love,

NO to death and YES to life,

NO to oppression and YES to truth,

NO to violence and YES to justice,

NO to hardness of heart and YES to mercy

NO to revolt and YES to the olive branch.

NO whatever it costs and YES whatever it costs,

Because You are Love and Life,

Truth and Justice,

Mercy and Peace. Amen.
