Being a good Christian is more important than being a nun. We must cultivate the human virtues of hospitality and love to the highest possible decree and then add to them the virtues of the religious life.

My prayer has always been, Lord, send me any number of trials and any amount of suffering, but allow me to be always in perfect harmony with your Church.

Their doors will always be open..

Our hearts, like that of the Church, like that of Jesus, must embrace all humanity.

Be loving, gentle, humble, with all human-beings. This is what we have learned from Jesus, not to be aggressive towards anyone. Jesus taught us to go out like lambs among wolves.

We must love people as Jesus loved them and since that is what his name ‘Jesus Saviour’ means, we like him, must make the salvation of all people the work of our life. It is by loving people that we learn to love God.

The evangelisation that I am called to live is not through the word but through the presence of the Blessed Sacrament, the offering of the sacrifice of the Mass. It is through prayer and penance and the practice of the Gospel virtues - love, fraternal and universal love, sharing even my last mouthful of bread with every poor person, with every visitor, every stranger, and welcoming each person as a beloved brother or sister.

I love our Lord and cannot bear to lead a life other than the one he led. I cannot conceive of love that does not include a need, a compelling need of resembling him and moulding my life on his.
