Contemplatives have no external works to fulfil, their 'work' is to love. Normally they are unable to see any measurable, visible results in their lifetime. This is also the case for us, the Little Brothers. However, in faith we are convinced that giving oneself to a group of people in order to love them for themselves can fulfil a life and contribute to the growth of the Kingdom. There are times and situations when this faith becomes particularly demanding. News from Warsaw, Poland

Our fraternity (one of three located in Poland) is in a very poor area of Warsaw (the capital), on a street with a bad reputation. The families there are often divided, and the people suffer greatly. For several years we have been the youngest fraternity in our Congregation (in terms of our ages), consisting of students who will soon be finishing their studies. There are usually three or four of us living here, and we welcome young men who are interested in the Fraternity.  read more »
