In Aljmas

When our group of countries: Croatia, Hungary and Serbia meet together it is often in our Community house in the little village of Aljmas.

We also have a hermitage there for times of prayer and the Sisters do work for local farmers, according to the season.

During our last gathering there in September the theme was on Little sister Magdeleine: ‘All I ever wanted was a work of love.’

In all our communities we have worked both together and personally on these texts of Little sister Magdeleine. During her life time she came 25 times to our country and we have all been able to get to know her just as she was without ceremony. In our conversations and times of sharing together we have felt her very close to us. It struck us just how much her words speak to the situation of today and challenge us to live the Gospel through the friendships of our daily lives.
