Maybe to counter a certain feeling of pandemic "gloom" we had the idea last October to plant crocuses and daffodils in our garage!

Each pot contained one small bulb! When Christmas came we could offer a little pot to each of our friends and neighbours with our Christmas greetings.

They were all so happy to see their small plant first show green shoots, then little leaves, then a bud and then the full flower! The crocuses were the first to open and then the daffodils. New life is everywhere and God’s creative energy cannot be tied down especially in a lockdown!

Let us witness to this bursting energy of God's free gift of new life, an ongoing gift of something always new!

Thank you Lord for Daffodils and crocuses!
