It was discussed and approved by the General Assembly of the Lay Fraternities of Charles de Foucauld at San Cugat (Barcelona) Spain, 15th August 1982, and modified by the General Assembly of the Lay Fraternities at Araruama (Rio de Janeiro), Brazil, 29th July 2000.
