1974 In Red square MoscowIn 1964 she could at last visit Russia, something she had dreamed of since 1949. Discreetly she joined in the prayers of the faithful in Orthodox Churches and good relationships developed. The community that grew up was the fruit of this deep respect and open ecumenical spirit.

1979 Wall of China In 1979 at 81 years of age she could at last undertake a visit to China, another dream come true.

This passion for Unity which burned in her heart pushed her not only to create links with people of other Christian traditions but also to welcome young women of these traditions as Little Sisters. This project continues with discretion and prudence.
