Jesus Caritas

The amount of good we do does not depend on what we say or on what we do, but on what we are. It depends on the extent that Jesus lives in us and that it is Jesus who acts in and through us.

Jesus wills that I work for the foundation of this twofold family. How? By prayer, by sacrifice, by death, by growing in holiness: basically, by loving him.

Being reduced to nothing is the most powerful means we have of uniting ourselves to Jesus and of doing good to others.

Loving me has to do with wanting to love, not with feeling that one loves.

God who is infinite, all powerful, has become man, the least of men. My way is always to seek the lowest place, to be as little as my master, to walk with him step by step as a faithful disciple. My way is to live with my God who lived this way all his life and who has given me such an example from his very birth.

When we love, we are so small, so humble before the one we love. We feel so mean and so poor finding the one we love so perfect and so beautiful.

By becoming such a small and gentle child, he cries out to us: Have trust, come close to me! Do not be afraid of me, do not fear.

Let us have this faith which banishes all fear. We have besides us, facing us, in us, our Jesus, our God who loves us infinitely, is all-powerful, knows what is best for us, tells us to seek the kingdom and that the rest will be given to us.
